Triangle

Was it right to leave you in the dark
Without a flashlight on that night
We were roaming in the haunted house

Cold dark and musted stairwells
I told you i was proud
and you could do it yourself

You were only four years old
what could i say to keep
you from crying

Was it right to leave you alone
When all you needed was a guiding
hand to wipe your tears away

Tissues piling on the bed
as your first love
drives off in the rain

You were thirteen years old..
What could i say to
keep you from crying

Was it right to leave you alone
When all you needed was a pencil
to help you connect the isocoles triangle?
